Large beads???

Hi.
Just wondered if anyone knows where i can get nice chunky glass beads. Most of my jewellery is quite delicate & i fancy experimenting with chunkier styles, just having problems finding larger beads i like.
Also i'd like to find some nice focal beads/pendants- any suggestions?

It's been mentioned a few times that people go to Charity shops or car boots and break up old necklaces, as it's cheaper than buying new beads - the bigger the more expensive.
It also depends what you mean by chunky, i.e. 10mm and over, or 20mm and over.
If you type in chunky beads on eBay, it might help you in your search.

hi bea & thanks. never really thought about using old necklaces. It's something to consider!
Don't have a set idea as to what size really,in some of my pieces i've used 10-15mm beads, but i tend to have played it 'safe'. Now i realy fancy being a little bolder & going for 15mm+. Just to add a bit of variety to my collection.
