Hi there, I'm thinking about making myself some body products (only for me and family) and I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could get good quality cocoa butter from the doesn't cost too much.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Emma,
I'm afraid that cocoa butter isn't the cheapest of ingredients, I get through loads of it in my bath melts and skin balms. Even in the quantities I buy it's difficult to get much of a cost saving!
Not sure if there is anywhere on the high street that you can buy it from but most soapmaking sites sell it. Try 'Just A Soap' or 'Soap Basics', they both sell things in small quantities that are great for experimenting with!!
Hope that helps

All is still and quite (not for long i bet). I've just ordered some cocoa butter from just soap. Thanks for the heads up. I'm gonna try making some bath melts, a friend of mine gave me some she had made for my birthday and they were well nice. I love a good soak!!

No problem, glad I could help.
Be careful though, once you start making your own bath stuff you'll become addicted!! It happened to me, and now I spend my days talking to soap bars!!!
