emergency dress help! Going out tonight, hem undone!

Hi,
So I'm going out tonight, just chosen my dress and the hem has all unwraveled! The dress is polyestre and viscose ans is quite stretchy. if I sew the hem with a normal running stich, how can i make sure the dress stretches so I can walk.
Any fast help is great.

You need to sew it with a herringbone stitch, that is a crossover stitch, looks like a row of crosses, and you sew the backwards from left to right, they will give with the fabric.
