I've just been on ebay to check my items and had a Paypal payment for one of my childrens paintings completely out of the blue. Its going to Canada of all places. Is this real? i'm sure it must be because I've got my payment, they've made up their own postage which I think more than covers it.
Anyway its going Tuesday, I'm very excited about this one, first international.:)

But make sure you send it by trackable means....they could, I'm not saying they will but it does happen, claim that the iten never arrived and then claim a full refund through PayPal. PP is biased and automatically sides with the buyer. I have had this happen with US buyers several times, and you end up out of pocket, with very hurt feelings too.
Make sure you've covered yourself!

Thanks for the advice. I had it in mind to send it in a trackable way. I'm not trusting this one until its over.

If you haven't had any emails from Ebay about the sale then it's probably been sold off your Mr Site site. That's the problem with Mr Site - you just get a Paypal Notification of Payment Received email and no other notification.
Anyway, wherever the sale has come from - WELL DONE !!!!!

Its definately from ebay, got all the blurb and emails. I'm not a Mr Site user, but I'm the same if I sell through my website, the only way of knowing is the Paypal notification.
Still doesn't matter where sales come from, just pleased to have some.:jump:

Thanks. It has been a great week for us both, more news. My Canadian ebayer has contacted me about another farm painting to go with the one she's already bought. I've got some sketches to do, this is fitting in between sending my commission, painting my three ebay sales from yesterday, and keeping my fingers crossed for another commission which I have quoted on today.
:) Ebay is coming good at the moment, for now, I love ebay.:)

Well done, your paintings are beautiful. Such a good feeling isn't it knowing something you have created is on a wall somewhere in some part of the word, have sold things to Italy, France, Bahamas and many other places and it always amazes me to think there is a piece of me somewhere in this wide old world!!
