CD and CD Cases

Hiya Guys,

Over the Summer Holidays, I have used both CDs and CD Cases for kids workshops.
I have used old CDS and made them into sparkly suncatchers for inside or outside. Using glitter, gems and feathers, they make an easy activity for any child.

I also use plastic CD Cases and make them into easy photo frames. These are decorated with ribbon, buttons etc and once dry, they can display a lovely picture and can be changed at any time.

My business uses many recycled items for kids crafts, which is not only fun, but educational too

That is a good idea! I will have to try that with some acrylics.
So nice when kids try crafts they really look involved in being creative!

Nice idea to use CD cases for photo frames. I was in an (adults) exhibition a few years ago where the criteria was we had to fit our artwork into a CD case. It made for a very interesting show - hundreds of tiny artworks pressed into CD cases.
