Hi All
I am relatively low key scrapper as I dont get much time to dedicate to it, but i do love it. I hate doing my own titles etc as i am rubbish at freehand or neat cutting and want a cutting machine to help. Do I want a cricut or a craft robo? I am confused about what they do and therefore I can't make my mind up! What is easy to use and quick to get to grips with as I am a bit of a technophobe. Pro's/cons of either much appreciated.
Cheers

I used to have a robo, but have now sold it and got a cricut - which is much easier to get to grips with in my opinion, and also gives much better results. I would never go back to a robo now unless they changed it radically!

Many thanks - that's pretty much the conclusion I was coming too reading other stuff about the Robo!

And there is always SCAL (sure cuts a lot) an unofficial computer program that lets you cut anything you like on your cricut, like the robo.

Glad i could help :)

SLICE machine should do pretty much what you'd need for scrapbooking too...if cost is a consideration they are cheaper than the cricut and robo and smaller (portable) too.

I have seen some fab things created using the robo but from what I've seen its a serious machine and isn;t for the casual user or for beginners - even some experienced users say it was a steep learning curve.

Do let us know how you get on once you decide...
