Spinning around

How do you stop a bead spinning on its thread? apart from glueing it.

Do you mean on a floating necklace?

I use crimps quite close, but not right next to the bead and then I use crimp covers over the crimps so that they look like spacers.

What sort of bead do you mean and why do you want to stop it spinning?

Its a charm really.Im using it as part as a necklace,it has a big hole running from side to side to thread the wire through and when its threaded and worn, each time I move my neck or talk the charm 'nods' up n down.

Hmmm - I've been known to shove some seed beads into a large hole bead to try and "pack it out" - either that or re-thread it onto cord and tie knots either side?

Failing that - put a big blob of Araldite in it and hope that works!!
