OK, so I have sanding sorted- a mixture of by hand and using my electric toothbrush/ sanding contraption... Now I am on to buffing/ polishing. I have got a Dremel... Can anyone recommend any attachments that can be used with Polymer Clay? I have some polishing bits but a couple of them aren't strong enough cos when I use them for buffing, they fray like mad and loads of bits fly off them! I have another one that seems OK ish...

Any advice or recommendations would be welcome!

You can get felt buffing attachments for the dremel type things. I don't know what compounds you'd need for clay etc though. Have look through here and see if they give advice re what to use, (http://www.dremel-direct.com/acatalog/Rotary_Tool_Bits.html)

I made my own by sewing circles of fleece together and "screwing" it on to one of the attachments.
