I would welcome your comments please.
I have just tried my first batch of castile soap made with just olive oil, lye and water and has been cured for 8 wks. On first day of use everything seemed ok but now whenever the soap is used there seems to be what I can only describe as 'stringy mucus', which washes off ok but is very off putting. Is this normal? I expected a very soft soap with little lather but this does seem slightly odd.
