Hard Weekend

Hi all,Not been on the forum much at all this weekend and I really missed my daily fix!!! Was at the Vet School Rodeo Craft Fair on Saturday and I did quite well (for a flippin change - about time!!) Decided to go out on Saturday night and got absolutely newssed as a pewt!!Was going to get up on Sunday and get on with making candles but I felt far to fragile. Decided instead to go out and get a hair of the dog that bit me!!! Bad move - do I feel rough today - and worse still back at work. Why ow why do I drink - I will never learn!!

Hi Lisa,

It always seems like such a good idea at the time!! I think we must just forget how horrible we're going to feel the next day! I always find that eating lots of naughty food, full of calories helps a hangover!

Glad to hear that you had a good craft fair. I've got 3 weekends booked up at craft events in May and I am really hoping that they go well!!!

Hehehehehehe, I thought it was only me!!!
At home saturday night, junk food, bottle of bacardi and bottle of coke, documentary on 'Allo 'Allo....a couple of hours later I was hurling like nobodys business.
Its all a drunken blur, felt awful sunday morning but luckily got better as I decided to eat more once id realised i wasnt going to spew it all up.


Im a nice seahorse really!I rarely do the pukey thing and I think it has put me off drinking for life.

Yep, Im guilty of saying it before!
Silly thin is that I dint even like bacardi!!...but I do like being drunk,probably why I carried on drinking.

I have said that many many times too - doesn't make a blind bit of difference though! I'm prone, when drunk, to falling asleep straight after being sick so I often wake up with my head next to the toilet! You can imagine how that went down a few years ago when Matt and I went away for a romantic weekend and I had far too many cocktails........

...I'm a totally useless drunk. I fall asleep......I've missed so many great parties because after two thimbles of sherry I'm zedding.

Sherry is the pits, sweet, sickly & lethal. Nothing knocks me out like that stuff does......I know now why ol' biddies drink it....genteel my foot.

Most things, including rough Cider I can drink til the cows come home and I'm perfectly sober until someone introduces me to fresh air......what IS it about fresh air?:sm:

I bought a folk art fridge magnet today...it says 'Save Water....Drink More Wine' ;)

Now that's my kind of fridge magnet.

I'm sure it wasn't the vodka that made me sick, must have been the cola!!! Yeah that's it!!
