Bit annoyed as I thought I had found a really good deal on brooch backs until I discovered that you have to spend £10 on said site - got my order up to 10.36 but then it wouldn't let me checkout. Turns out that the order has to be £10 without postage!! Do lots of bead companies do this? Wouldn't have minded but there was nothing else that grabbed me and I try not to buy for the sake of buying.
Anyway - can anyone recommend a good site that does brooch backs? It can have a minimum order as long as it has decent stuff on there!!
Thanks

I got some brooch pins from good old jillysbeads not sure if this is what you meant, there's no minimum order and they are quick with delivery.

Thanks - they've got the Russian doll beads I saw a while back but couldn't find again! Might have to order from them - thank you! Who needs brooch backs when you've got russian doll beads!

Haha, i do love jilly's and they always send you a little freebie which is a nice touch.
Mind you i've kind of exhausted their bead supply......

Do you use kilt pins at all and if so, do you find them good to work with ?

Not all bead shops have minimum orders ;)

I find the minimum orders on site really frustrating - the other day I needed to order some unfinished wooden beads to use as a core for another beaded bead project I fancy. Didn't really need anything else from them, so had to buy extras just to reach the order minimum :mummy:
It frustrates me, which is why I don't do it, but I can understand why some places might do it.
Oh, and I have the brooch pins (http://kandmbeadshop.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_22&products_id=393) too, if anyone's still interested. ;)
At the risk of being slapped by Peter (oooh, if only!) I can really recommend the person who is also known as Lili and has posted on this thread (hint, hint)

It really annoys me when there is a minimum order before postage, another things is the high P&P I get charged from some suppliers for sending to France. If some suppliers can be reasonable why can't all of them, I wanted one watch face and the P&P was more than than the watch :mad:

Minimum orders are a pain. That's when i end up buying things I never use!
I have brooch backs - and no minimum order.
