My first attempt at stained glass

More about the experience on my blog. Sorry about the large pic, it's not nearly that big on my blog!

Very nice. I love the simplicity of the design, may be as it's your first but keep on doing them like this even when you become experienced.

Thank you! The glass feels smooth but when you hold it to light it has texture inside - I think it is the way it is rolled.

Thank you! It is done with lead came 10mm outside and 6mm inside and solder. I was briefly shown copper foiling and that looks like awesome fun!

Thank you! We were limited to 8 pieces but I love simplicity and abstract design too.

Mine was completely different in colour and design to all the others. They all went for warm - reds and yellows and sun ray designs. I would have been disappointed to be even remotely similar to anyone else but it did look very 'odd one out' - so it's good to have some positive comments.

have a go with the foil Terry, I have it on good authority that it is much better to work with if you are doing window hangings. Obviously, if you want to make a window pane then you will need lead came to make it more rigid.

Nice work for a first attempt. The purple glass looks like waterglass.
