Maybe I am missing it, but I have not seen a forum to discuss crochet. Is anyone else interested in this?

I think 'Knitting & Needlecraft' would cover it, unless you mean Bead Crochet, in which case it would go in the 'Bead' forum.:)

It would be nice to have one for crochet - if it isn't too much of a problem. Otherwise, crochet subjects just seem to end up all over the place.

I think the majority post in the 'knitting and needlecraft' section here http://www.craftsforum.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?39-Knitting-and-needlecraft I know looking at the list of posts a fair few are crochet related.

Doing a search of the forum for crochet, it appears the majority of questions about it appears in the knitting section (knitting and crochet do go hand in hand really). It would make the forum very cluttered if we had separate forums for every different craft.

Gosh, this thread is from 2007, but always someone new comes along and is confused by the same thing - even long time members occasionally aren't quite sure where to put a fiber post! I have always felt that the knitting section should be called Fiber Arts....to encompass not only knitting and crochet, but spinning, weaving, needle felting, tatting, etc., etc..

Then, too, everyone needs to be clear i their subject headings - mention which fiber art the post is about - for instance:

Spinning question - what to do when I get dizzy?

Haha, just a joke, but hopefully you see what I mean!

That sounds like a good idea. Personally, "Knitting and Needlecrafts" doesn't cover Crochet. It isn't knitting and it isn't done with a needle.

But, as we are in the UK, it should really be Fibre Arts.

It IS an internationally renowned forum, however! ;)

dont mean to re kindle this old topic - but all above points are noted and i think maybe could change the forum for knitting/needlecraft.

Maybe call it Fibre Arts like Enfys said.

Within Fibre Arts have several sub forums - crochet, knitting, needlecraft etc to split things into more understandable areas as each one is a craft of their own and have their own merits / followers etc?
