Sorry i can't help. I'm getting something funny when i turn mine on at the minute, it says something like it had to move DLL as it's illegal or something like that.

I get that error message now and again, i send the reports just to annoy microsoft, not that Mr Bill Gates sits there and reads them but i like to think that someone has to (not rudy likely!)

I don't know how to fix the problem unfortunatly. You could try using Mozilla Firefox - It's free to download and use and might work better for you.

what is your operating system. Do you have anything like norton virus or internet guard. what version of internet explorer are you using and can you view the dr watson readout and what error is it referring to, does it give an error code? My hubby is an IT god he may be able to help.

Emma

Assume you are using windows xp service pack 2. A recent update from microsoft has caused a crruption in a number of files which produces this dial up box, apparantly there is a fix out already, go to microsoft windows update site and update your pc.

Hope this helps

Hi,

All the updates are up to date so to speak. And it is still doing it. I went onto the Microsoft Update site and they apparently know of the problem but can't give a time when it will be resolved. Driving me batty!!

All the best.

hubby says he runs a fleet of 700 pcs and he never applies updates, patches etc. until 2 weeks after release except anti virus ones, this way you find out about any problems with updates before hand. so may be a couple of weeks before they relase a newupdate.

hope this helps

Yeah i agree Norton is a nightmare!!! it honestly causes more problems than it solves!
