Hey,
I went into paperchase today and they had A5 sized notbooks/journals that had an amazing texture (the cover that is). Says on the back its made from recycled paper and leather. Its thicker than paper and feels kinda soft. I did a google search but cant find anything about it. Have you come across it anywhere? Id love to buy it as sheets.
Thanks!

My mum used to work in the office at a factory that made this. They called it leatherboard, it was made from all the scraps of leather left over from the Clark's shoe factory in the same way that paper is made.
Unfortunately it closed down about 20 years ago, sorry. But it is obviously still made by someone, the right name may help in your search though.

Says on the back its made from recycled paper and leather.

Well I'm just wondering if there ought to be a semicolon in there---i.e, the journal is made of:

recycled paper (the pages); leather (the cover - thin leather)...

Or maybe they should have said leather and recycled paper, though the more prominent material is the paper and would be listed first.

Just a thought.
