    Printer / Copier

    Afternoon guys and gals,

Does anyone know of an online site where you can upload images to be printed on everyday printer paper - basically the same service a copy shop could give you? Its just I need quite a lot and my local stationers that does it, however much I love them, are just too darned expensive per sheet!

I've got the loveliest images I'm using for collage and upcycling but I just can't keep printing them off on the home printer, its using up so much ink (we only put it in a week ago!)

I don't know of such a service, but maybe it's time to invest in your own printer? I think you might end up spending more on copying than you could if you found a cheap printer. Do some research into ink prices first, and then choose some of the cheapest to research the printers.
I know my dad's printer does lovely photo quality prints and the ink refills only cost about £2.00 for each colour and they do last a while. I think the printer too was only £25.
Many, many shops also do "own brand" ink cartridges and they are usually about half the price of the manufacturers!
So many things to make, so little time!

I can't imagine where you'd get a print service that was cheaper than printing your own, for low-volume (1-10) prints. Maybe it's worth investing in a colour laser - although the initial cost is a bit higher, and the toner cartridges are individually more expensive, you get a LOT more print for your money than with an inkjet.
      Cheers,
