So we decided to add a feature to our blog 'Free Craft Friday' here is our first weeks http://craftychics.weebly.com/1/post/2010/03/free-craft-friday-fabric-stars.html Any feedback as to how understandable the tutorial is would be lovely, and if any of you want to contribute that would be lovely too

What a lovely simple idea with easy to follow instructions. They would look lovely made from sparkly fabric in Christmas colours to hang on the tree. I would maybe back the fabric with iron on vilene to stiffen it before cutting out the squares.

Very easy to understand instructions.

Tayla (as usual reading over my shoulder) shouted "I recognise that flowery fabric!!!!" (it's the bird she bought for me, which incidentally is lovely and hanging on my bed post!)

When she read the instructions she said "cool, can I make some for my bedroom!" :D

Oh lovely if she makes any can you email me some pics so we can put them on the site ??? Does she like sewing ?? I've got a draw full of scraps of fabrics or random bits (where I've brought a bundle of fabric) I'll sort it all out for her if she likes ??

Yes they would be lovely for Christmas, maybe some smaller ones on a garland to hang across the fireplace or around the tree ... shame its only March hey !!!

Lovely tutorial, even I could follow it! You could use a fabric stiffener if you wanted the stars more 'solid'.
