I am right there with you Swirly, I make a list of things to do at the beginning of the week and I should be crossing them off as they are done..but all I ever seem to do is add more things!! I have a white board in my office that I write the most important things to do on so they are in my face all day. I have taken to putting coloured stars against the most important ones as there is so much on there I can't tell what needs doing first. What am I doing here?? I have a white board to look at and decide which things not to get done today!! :mf::mf:

Lists are good, you can then get a sense of satisfaction as you tick them when completed.

It makes me chuckle when I write lists as I write a couple fo things, then I write 'beads' which is completely unlimited!!

Never put more than 5 things on a list - it makes it achievable! :D

But I need a long list otherwise I would forget what I need to do!! Just taken loads of photo's of stuff to go on Etsy and they are uploaded to my Flickr. So todays job is to put the stuff onto Etsy!!

Oh - what did you teach? I was an infant teacher in Slough, Rochdale and Oldham - the bright lights for me!! Are you planning on going back? I'm not - I couldn't hack working those hours for something I'm just not interested in anymore. Crafts on the other hand I can work on all day!!

I don't often make myself a list, but I often make my husband one - he needs a list to get motivated or nothing would get done. I don't think he likes my lists though.

Lists are King.... and Queen!

I would be lost without 'em.

I have two lists. A strategic list in an excel spreadsheet. Contains my main goals, like market website etc... I ahve a date attached and cross them out when I acheive them.

Then I have a second daily list that the strategic goals broken down into smaller tasks. These form my daily (weekly) to do list!

I also have a white board with general stuff on.

For very important things I also put them in my outlook so when I log on in the morning I get reminded.

Long live lists!!
:)

Well got some things done today - put more stuff up on Etsy and photographed even more. Went out and bought some supplies for things I am making so had a good day. Only time will tell if today will be as good!
