Chilford Hall

Has anyone ever been there? It's in Cambridgeshire and i see on the website they have a Rock and Gem show on 14/15th April.
Might go and have a look but just wondered if anyone had been before?

I have been to Chilford Hall several times. I have been to the Homes and Gardens show there as well as a craft fair. It is quite a good venue, plenty of parking and space inside. We live in Haverhill and events are advertised in our local paper and events are sign posted on the busy road between Haverhill and Cambridge.

Its a good idea to go and look first, I have only been there as a vistor not an exhibitor.

Thanks, i think i will go have a nosey, really want to buy some stuff that i can touch first, bit fed up of getting materials off the internet, and i've kind of exhausted my usual websites.

Sorry, I thought you meant to go as an exhibitor, but I can see now you meant as a vistor. I know what you mean about wanting to touch the items, I like to be able to touch things before I buy, its not the same over the net.

I've only been as a visitor to the Quilt shows they do and it is a lovely place - definately worth a visit and not far from us! We are going to exhibit for the first time in November because we really liked the place!
