I know I'm not going to get much sympathy here but I'll ask anyway!! Does anyone know how to get massage/hair oil out of hair?? Had a lovely massage on the day before I came back from Goa but I had loads (a whole bottle) of oil poured through my hair! I have washed it about 15 times since Thursday but my hair still looks really awful. Does anyone have any tips on how to get it out??

Hi,

When I had an indian head massage with oils I was told to put shampoo onto my hair whilst it was dry, rub it in and then rinse it out with water.

It worked for me so it's worth a try, Good Luck.

Try a baby shampoo and wash and wash and wash. It is gentle on your scalp and hair but should get rid of the oil.

Well you would go to Goa. :D

Have you got it out yet??
Oil and water don't mix together so you need to put shampoo on first to emulsify it (spelt wrong?) then gradually add some water that should sort it!

Just asked my mechanic friend and she swears by washing up liquid!

I've been advised by another friend to try washing up liquid too. I will let you know how it turns out tomorrow - I can't have a shower once Anya has gone to bed because the pipes go through her bedroom and bang and clatter and it wakes her up!! If only I'd made more noise around her when she was a baby!
