Business Advice - Yeeeaaaahhh !!!!

Since my grotty day last week when I saw a grotty business advisor, today I saw someone from Business Link - Excellent!!! :D

He was very positive and said I could possibly get a grant towards the cost of a new sewing machine. :D :D

Also had a storming day with sales - SOLD 3 !!! So we are going out for a pint tonight before I get tied to my machine all weekend. :mf:

Great news Helen!

I'm glad your business link advisors could help you. They are very limited down here. I didn't get either help or decent advice last time I went to ours about by own stuff.

Got to make another appointment and see if we can get advice about the craft fairs side of things now. Hopefully, I can get onto a business management course...although, I think Himself would be better at that.

Just got home after one or two beers (and the rest) and I've sold another!!!

Thank you all very much for the great support and encouragement. I've heard of "the power of positive thinking" and I'm sure with your help I'm really getting somewhere, especially after 3 years of post natal depression - but that's another story!

Well, I have had quiet times and busy times, as we all do. It was very quiet in October when we had some lovely warm autumn weather but now that the winter temperatures have dropped I am now busy again.

I've got some wholesalers sorted out for fabric, I've also got three other websites selling for me and I am just about to advertise with an organisation for people with twins, triplets, quads etc so bring on the multiple orders!

My son goes to school next September and my daughter two years after so by the time they are both at school I am hoping to do it full time.
