Im trying to rubber stamp onto a bottle, the stamp is flat on the table, I ink it up then roll the bottle over it but it just slides all over the place.

What to do, less ink, put the stamp on a mount? Any ideas?

Have a look into the properties of liquid fimo/liquid sculpey.
Even though I use these for wings, they are also used for transfering images.
I am not sure if this involves glass, but might be worth researching it.

I've ggogled "stamping on bottles" for over an hour and it's beaten me:mad: Ah well here's the way I would do it. First use StazOn ink (permanant ) depending on size of stamp either clamp the stamp or the bottle. I think personaly I would clamp the bottle then I could position the stamp easyer.

What result are you trying to achive is it an out line for Painting or just the stamp image you want?

Just a stamped image that goes all/most of th way round the bottle.
I think clamping the bottle is a good idea, keep that still and move the stamp round.

Silly thing is that the stamps Im using is on a big sheet, not individual, I hate cutting them up as I think Im gona lose them.
Suppose making them individual stamps would help.

Have you tried Tinta ink, for pergamano, it's great for other things too, might be worth a try on glass.
I love experimenting
