With the first craft centre opening today we've been burning the midnight oil for the past 3 weeks getting stuff made and fired. Also the market stall is looking ,well.... a bit sparse, so much stock is needed.
I've had a 'low' time recently struggling to make new glazes for the year ahead..most of what i have come up with has been rubbish...very depressing. so... with no time leeway whatsoever i decided to have one last shot at making a new glaze from scratch. Opened ther kiln at 9 this morning and was so pleased to see the new glaze. Love it
heres a shot of the backroom table covered in the contents of the kiln most of which has worked out fine...

Here's the downside...we had left a wall space at the craft centre to hang 3 new large wall motifs approx 18" wide today. The glazing worked out fine but every one was broken...(cooled too fast by the looks of it or maybe dried too fast )
