about me sites...

I'm looking to create an about me site and was wondering which would be the best. There are so many options out there I'm utterly confused.

I don't want to be just limited to a blog, I'd like to be able to add other nifty things on there such as banners, flickr badges, html and other things.

Any suggestions welcome!

Wordpress is great and free.. You just need to pay for hosting and a domain but your can normally put it on a subdomain of your site..

Wordpress has everything you need if you put it on your own server..

Great, I keep forgetting I have a decent size free web space with my ISP. I'll give it a go. Domain name will be a problem though. Already exceeded the craft/web/hobby budget for the next 3 months! LOL!

I can ftp to it so i think I can manage it. With two little ones the budget is watched closely and we always cut it fine.

ok weird. I wrote the post sig wasn't there, remembered the one sig per thread rule, edited the post to add the link so i didn't look a fool, sig re-appears making me look even more of a fool!
