Had some fun this morning decorating my keys with polymer clay. Now I know which is for what door in an instant. Going to make some key rings to match.
Great fun to do, so easy too. xxx

They are fab, what a great idea!
Im so dim, I never ever thought of doing that - I bought one of those horrible plastic things to go on my front door key so I could find it more easily, didnt cross my mind to make my own!

These are great Pepsi! Excuse my ignorance but do you bake the key with the clay on or have you somehow glued the clay on after baking? I tried covering something ones but it didn't stick very well so any tips greatly welcomed!
thanks

Ooooh yes. Much, much nicer than those awful plastic thingies. They are really eye catching.

Oh what a fantastic idea!
They look great.
My mum paid a small fortune to get patterned keys cut. This is so much more personal and creative - I wish I had thought of it! Lol!

Oh I just put the clay on and baked the whole keys. Wrapped the clay right around the turn bit , then cut out the hole for the fob to go through.
Have to admit it wasn't my idea though, I saw something similar on a Polymer clay site. I thought I would give it a go with my own designs.
Hope that's some help Jayne . xxx :)

They look brill hon. I'm forever getting my keys mixed up so I'm going to have a crack at that. What makes you think that's what most of us will be doing tonight, lol.

Brilliant!!!!! I'm always getting my keys confused as my front door, back door and parent's front door keys are all the same. One of these days I am going to jam one of the locks with the wrong key!!!!
I'm useless with the polymer clay though so will have to get horrible plastic covers
Well done Rita!!!

I love that. I saw some keys before, but they were not alluring like yours.
