Hello all,

I have absolutely thousands of Hama beads and am getting very frustrated so thought I would post my problem here.

When we iron the beads they tend to go all flat and "melted" on the back and the holes close up. If we iron them less so they look better, they remain fragile and our designs break easily.

I want them to look nice both sides but also want them to be a bit stronger

What am I doing wrong??? please help:mad:

From what I remember from using them years ago, I think the back will always look unsightly because that's the way they stick together and stay hard, If you wanted both sides to look nice, maybe use something to back them with?

Thanks for that. It's not so much that the back looks unsightly, we can get around that, but does anyone know of a way to make them more sturdy????? really tearing my hair out at the moment

I just used to keep ironing them until they really melted together. I only did smaller things though.
