Hi, just wondering if anyone knows where I might find some clown heads that I used to buy 10 years ago (probably don't even exist now but) they are about 17 cm in diameter with bald heads with just a ring of blond or brown hair, they are made of moulded plastic and have clown painted faces. I used to make been bag bodies and sew then around the necks, so if any one knows what I am talking about and knows where I might get some from i would be grateful of the advice Many thanks:D

What about places like hobbycraft? I know they do dolls heads etc so they might do clown heads too. I might be going tomorrow so if I do I'll have a look and see if they do any.
Failing that, what about suppliers of dolls heads, furniture etc?

Didn't actually make it out  Hubby's back has gone and he can't lift our 8 month old so not really fair to go out and leave him with her. So sorry I couldn't look for you.
He's promised me a shopping trip to Leeds on Weds though :D

Clowns are evil. They hide under your bed and attack you when the lights go off.
or is that just me?
What film was that from anyway?

It's not just you, clowns scare the hell out of me, so creepy. Years ago, our car broke down, a friend who came to give us a jump start was dressed ready for a gala he was taking part in...dressed as a clown :o He didn't understand why I ran off!

Its ok my clowns are really cute or they will be when i get some more heads, I looked on the net and found some very similar so i think I will get some of those, they are slightly bigger but that wont matter. Thanks for everyones help. and by the way I remember there being a clown under the bed of the little boy in Poltergheist when there is a thunder storm and he has a creepy tree outside!!!:D

Stephen King's IT has a very scary clown in it - even knowing that the clown is played by the gorgeous Tim Curry doesn't help - still scary!!

Hi I'm new to this forum so apologies if this has already been answered, but did you manage to find the heads? I know the exact type you mean as I used to crochet clowns with those heads on them and have been looking for them myself as unfortunately the shop that used to sell them in Aberdeen no longer stocks them.
