Glue - what sort?

I have a couple of masks that I would like to decorate with my quilling but am unsure what glue would be best. I usually use PVA but the masks are made of shiny plastic so I reckon my quilled paper shapes wouldn't stick too well.

Anyone know of a glue that would work or a way around this problem?

Try www.thistothat.com you can saywhat you are glueing together and then it will come up with options to use.

Thanks, was a good try but on this occassion not really very helpful as it only suggested spray glues and they are no good for quilled shapes.....or maybe I could use it.. flash of inspiration I could spray the mask and then place the individual shapes onto it in the pattern I want...

I wonder if there is anything else I could try first though.

You could sand the mask lightly first and then the glue will adhere. I have found with quilling papers that glue shuch as superglue tends to stain the paper in an oil like way.
You could also try a product designed for surface preparation of furniture etc. Called ESP easy surface preparation, it paints on and eliminates the need for sanding. It basically provides a key for the paint or adhesive to adhere to.
You need to try a small area of the palstic first as it can melt with certain chemicals found in glue and paints.

Could you coat the mask with a layer of some kind of plain or decorative paper first?

I probably could. I've just been thinking about it while I was cleaning out some animals as I had nothing else to think about while doing that.
