It can saw/file into crystals but what is it called????!!!!

Hi all,

I am searching for something I saw in Bolivia when I learnt how to make waxed cord necklaces. It was a very very very small saw/file type thing (kinda looked like a nail file) which we used to create a deep groove on all the crystals (a wand type one!) corners so the cord could sit in their safely and securely.....I have no idea what it is called or where to get one......I will be soooo happy if someone can shine some light on this!
