Hi, Got an Expression for Xmas (how lucky am I?) I love it but I have trouble working out which size of design to cut. For instance, if I want a tag what does the measurement refer to? the length or the width? Same with corners, I have checked the manual but I must be missing something.
Cheers,
Margaret

Hi Margaret. The measurement refers to the height normally. With fonts they are in proportion to each other letter like any alphabet unless you use real dial size, I think this is explained in the manual though.

The expression has fit to length which is fab as you set the machine to whatever length of paper you have - lovely for example if you only have 6 inches on your card or scrapbook to write a phrase, you set the machine to fit to length 6 inches and your font will fit that space.

I have made an A4 sheet of cuts of a single image, e.g the letter A cut in all dial sizes as a guide to what size they come out as visually this really helps.

cricut.com has a massive forum with lots of discussions and examples, sizes are covered in detail. I love my expression, have lots of fun with yours!

What is a Cricut? Something that chirps at night? :)
