......I'm not all that happy with the ties.
Any suggestions as to what I could use instead of rag strips? I did think about gingham ribbon in matching shades.
The cosies are cream coloured, knitted in natural cotton yarn.

Gingham would be nice, although I've never seen it in orange!

Are the flowers felt? What about some sort of shape cut out of felt? Not much help I know but it might spark off some good ideas!!

Think it'll have to be gingham...I've seen it in orange on ebay, but I might go for yellow instead. I've seen lime green gingham ribbon too.
The flowers are little knitted jobs, I probably could knit them, but I bought these ones. Knitted the actual cosies though.
I didn't think about Easter when I started on them, more that this sort of kitsch kitchen stuff is very trendy just now. Unless I etsy or eBay them, I won't sell them before Easter, I was building up my stock of smaller items for sale at the Craft fair.

I can see now that they are knitted flowers - obviously didn't look properly before!! I think gingham ribbon would look good.

Being a fluff lover I'd vote for a fluffy pompom on the top. :sm:
They are soooo cute, makes me broody for some unknown reason...? Not that I lay eggs or anything!

;)
I think little pom poms would be cute, make them look like little hats to keep the eggs warm. Not that my lot in this house have that problem, they eat them too fast to let them get cold.
All the best.
