I am going to make one item per day and show it on my blog for the next year.

Anyone else want to join? Your year can start any time and you could vary the challenge by doing one a week etc I accept that one a day is a tall order. I'm living the proof!

Count me in - can't guarantee I can make one card a day, coz of day job commitments all day and evening Monday and Tuesday) but will aim to do as many as possible. Good thing about this snow is my place of work has been closed and my stock of cards is increasing nicely.

What a cool idea!
I am in the process of a major craft room reorg - it was part storage and I didn't have a nice work table, but now all mine so I cant join in right away but would like to in the near future if that's ok?
I always make sure the kiln is full before I fire and wont be able to do that every day but I look forward to seeing everyones progress and offering support and encouragement :)

I have set up a One-Each-Day album in my profile area and added my first card - made yesterday, but near enough today (?). My camera is not great - think it might be coz my cat knocked it on the floor last week and dented the lens! The only way to keep the lens open is with sticky tape!

Sat - today's card is in my album. quite pleased with this one as difficult to make cos its from my mum to my dad for his 60th so I wanted it to be a good one. I am liking this thread, its nice to be able to publish your work from the day for all to see (quite satisfying) and great to see what everyone else has been up to! Lets hope we dont run of of steam too early ha ha!

Yes have to agree didn't bother making any resolutions this year as usually failed them by day 2! However, for some reason this is different. Also, I think keeping to the one a day rule means that I don't do what I am usually guilty of and that is thinking and planning something to death. Keep it up peeps!

This is such a good idea! Incentive to get me making rather than wasting time on Facebook etc and looking at beads instead of doing things with them! I'm planning on doing more stalls and starting jewellery parties this year (eek!) so I need to make more stuff.
Not sure that I'll get round to taking photos of them every day until the summer when it's still light by the time I've finished making something, but here goes.... if I keep checking this thread you can shout at me here or on my blog if I lapse!!

Well, I haven't added to my One-Each-Day album on a daily basis, but have been adding every so often in bulk.

Easy to say 'yes, I can do this' and then everythign else comes along and gets in the way - however, will keep adding even if not daily.

add your blog URL as a signature. Go to user cp top left and add it there. At the moment you have too few posts to include it in the body of your post.

At the rate I seem to be working I'll be lucky to do one-a-year!! LOL! I really must stop being so busy doing silly things like working...it's just getting in the way really! hehe! I may start a one-a-week challenge for myself and then work my way up into a more productive state!

I'm in for one a week. Had discussed similar with husband and planned on definitely one a month but think one a week is do-able.

Mainly I knit, crochet & sew.

I think I have managed without trying so far :o, I've made a hat, some legwarmers and am on with a dress that I'm hoping to finish over the weekend.

Will create an album I think and post pics when I get home.

Have updated last three days - all baby boy cards - noone is having girls!! I have two more to make but will try and do something different for the album today and post it later or tomorrow. Am quite pleased have managed one a day but thats probably cos I am off sick, not sure I could keep up if was at work. Going for a nose around everyone else now!

Added my makes onto my blog for this week. I am really enjoying this challenge making me try new things. My brain seems to be going off an all different tangents as you will see from the pictures. Posted more than 7 as I have a jewellery party on Wednesday so thought I would get ahead of myself a bit.

Finally I have updated my album.

The hat is a slight cheat because I made that one before Christmas - bit I made another one for my friend and posted it to her before photos were done.

The legwarmers were made using ribbon yarn from Alice21. Thank you so much!
The picture does not really do them justice but they are from my punk knits book and I love the funky laddering. What I forgot when following the pattern was that the sizing was to fit someone with skinnier legs than me so I left them 'laced' up the back.

The dress isn't complete either as I didn't have a zip but it is nearly there. Again, I didn't have any buttons for the tabs on the pockets so sewed some beads instead.

I am up to date with making as I have another pair of legwarmers but they are in the wash!

I have 2 wips already this week so will see how I'm doing next weekend.

After a bit of a dud week last week, I finally did get round to 'doing'.

I started well with 2 WIP's, neither of which I had any inclination to do come mid-week when I came down with an awful stinker of a cold.
I had plenty of ideas and inspiration that would have taken too long to transpose into something physical but they are now filed in the ever-growing list. (Does anyone know how to generate more time in your day..?)

Anyway, not wanting to finish the week without an entry, I made a little wallet out of some scrap fabric from making my friend a bag last year. It's not perfect but will serve as a good prototype for future and a useful way of using up scraps. (I'm not patient enough for patchwork).

I will upload pic tonight when I get back.
