Hi, can anyone help. I'm really interested in making my own silk flowers and have ordered a book from Amazon as a starting point. Does anyone know where I can buy the special tools to form the flowers and leaves. Someone told me you can buy an electric version, but I've hunted high and low on the internet and can't find anyone who stocks them. Many thanks

(welcome)

A silk flower centerpiece can be made with little effort; just purchase the silk flowers (and greenery) you wish to use to spice up the table, and follow a few simple steps. Creating a silk flower centerpiece follows the same process as creating a real flower centerpiece. The only significant difference is, the silk flowers will last a whole lot longer than the real ones. Some people add water to the silk flower container to create an appearance of reality, but water isn't necessary to keep your silk flower centerpiece looking magnificent for many years to come.

What materials and products necessary for making silk flowers?
More good news! You can get cotton, polyester, crepe, silk and satin to silk flowers. You can even use white cotton sheets and dye it any color you want.

Material of varying thickness, different textures and fabric coatings can produce different effects. In general, a layer of starch is applied to tissues, which then shapes and forms.

Besides the fabrics, you need a handful of items available for making silk flowers of the project:
- Scissors
- Cables
- Wire cutters
- Plastic pipes
- Cornstarch
- Glue
- Brush
- Sewing thread and needle
- Clear fast drying glue
- Coating foam
- Cardboard
- Floral Tape
- Spoon and fork to mark and shape the fabric
Once one of my friend want same information for his project and i found it real .
