attaching fimo to wood plaques

How would you attach fimo embellishments to wood plaque, particularly small fiddly embellishments

I thought for larger ones I could use the double sided sticky padded tape, but for small embellishments would wood glue work? and would that affect the fimo??

I'm trying out some fimo ideas, I'm bound to be hopeless with it, no idea why I think I can work with fimo when the children's playdoh is a challenge but you never know!

Pinflair glue will do it - quite expensive but goes a very long way. Very strong, dries completely clear.

A good PVA wood glue is ideal for attaching Fimo, cernit or other polymer clays to anything porous, such as wood, paper etc.

Just scratch up the back of the Fimo embellishment first with some coarse sandpaper to provide a key. Wipe back to remove any dust and then glue into place.

Many thanks, that's excellent news as I already have a good wood glue for my wood, just wasn't sure if it would do anything to the fimo. Many thanks for the tips too :)

I use good old fashioned super glue. dab a blob onto a penny coin then dip a pin or a paper clip end in it and apply to tiny areas with precision!
