I am hopefully going to make a quilt for my nephew for his birthday (September) and I have a copy of the picture I want to quilt for him. It's a screen shot of Mario and I have pixelated it but it is still only A4 size. My basic question is - how do I go from a design this big to a proper full sized single bed size?? Should I make a mock up of the quilt using paper and work from that? Any ideas would be gratefully received!
Thanks in advance

I dont know if this will help at all but there is a Quilting Exhibition at NEC Birmingham in August (a bit late for you I know but something may come out of this). On the second day there is a demo called Image on Fabric -From Computer to Quilt run by run by an Alicia Merrett. Maybe someone in the Forum knows of her or I could ask at The Bramble Patch of which I am a member.
Stranger things have happened. I read your message yesterday and got the leaflets in a parcel today from Cottoncraft - perhaps they could help?
Good Luck
Carol (PS sorry just read the date of you message - I'm a bit late arnt I)

No you aren't late at all - I still haven't made it although its now supposed to be for this year's birthday (but I'm thinking Christmas!) so your advice will be useful - thanks!
