Have you tried contacting your local council? I was trying to find craft fairs in my area and emailed the council, who forwarded my details onto someone who is involved in events. They contacted me with details of events, so that was very useful. The website Sammy suggested is also a good place to look. Go into the diary section and select Gloucestershire.
