Hi,

I have already posted in the fairs section but thought I would post here too. I am organising a spring fair on sunday the 18th April at Shorne Woods Country Park, north Kent and the theme is woodland management and all things wooden. We usually have good turn out and can expect 1000 people (with good weather). I am looking for people for both indoor and outdoor space although if outside then will have to provide own shelter. There is no charge for stalls this year as it is a heritage lottery funded event.

Please let me know if you are interested in attending.

Many thanks

Sarah

Thanks! Sorry not in the right place, always the way I guess. Well if you decide you fancy a trip to north kent, please get back to me!!

Any other takers? Or interest? Still got inside space to fill...

I would really love to take part in your event, but like the other posters, journey is a bit too far for me - a round trip of 180 miles.

However, hope it goes well for you and all stall holders

Same here, transport from Cornwall would negate any chance of profit for me. Good luck with it thought, there are plenty of crafters close enough I'm sure.

Hi everyone,

I'm still after a wood turner! Anyone kent/sussex/surry based? The park is literally 2 minutes from the A2/M2 motorway so very easy to get to. Or if anyone has any contacts who may be interested.

Please help!! Thanks

Hang on. I must know one! Get on the phone to Southchurch Museum in Southend and dig out the curator who runs the Tudor Days. He's got the contacts for at least one wood turner complete with (very old fashioned) pole lathe. Probably local in a South Essex way.

Do search for wood turners as I am sure there are any number down that way.

Alternatively relocate your fair over here :mf:
