Does any one have any hints or tips on these as I don't seem to get them right?

I usually use my quilling tool to shape them and am not sure if they are popular to make with any other craft or you have any other ideas on how to make quite small roses out of paper using any other method.

Any suggestions will be appreciated! I've done my best from my quilling books/internet on folded roses to no avail. They look terrible to be honest. Not a single similarity with a rose.

Maybe obvious but have you tried origami websites? I found a good one a few months back - I'll see if I can find it again - and they certainly had flowers on there but not sure if they specifically had roses.

Origami websites seemed to make them too complicated. I've found something similar on a ribbon website... so will have to give it a go sometime soon.

Thanks, looks quite good. Probably too big for my current project but maybe handy for another time.
