Heya, just wondering if anybody can give me a few tips and ideas...
I am planning on making my grandparents a family scrapbook for their 50th wedding anniversary next year and I have lots of photos of them when they first met and got married and family pics but quite a lot of them are black and white or funny yellowy hews. I have scanned all the photos into my computer but I don't have any proper photo editing software so pretty much going to have to use them as they are but am struggling on what sort of colour scheme to go with. I don't want just black and white as for a whole album I think that will be a bit boring but am worried about what colours will work. Any help at all much appreciated :D

Does the 50th anniversary have a precious stone related to it like ruby or diamond?Maybe use that colour as a theme.

That's a lovely idea Seahorse. I'm not a stamper myself but I know there are some vintage coloured ink pads out there, you know the sort, sepia brown, library green, dining room red, antique gold etc...so you could mount each photo onto a piece of white/cream card and then drag the ink pad along the edges and say make each page a different colour scheme, whilst keeping the 'aged' look, as if the album has been around a while. I would be tempted not to edit the photos to keep them looking their age. Mind you you could go the other way and edit the photos and go modern? Or like Seahorse suggested do the colour associated with the 50th Wedding Anniversary. (Just googled it's Golden)
