Marble magnets

Hi all,
I came across this site http://www.notmartha.org/tomake/marblemagnets

Some really fun little magnets can be created in a matter of minutes.
I ordered the parts and they arrived yesterday... I made about 25 last night! Highly addictive! :D

I like the idea for using in card making perhaps... I think it would be really effective.

I know this is an old thread but came across the marble magnet link recently and just wondered where I could get the marbles from
yet another thing I want to have a go at lol

They're not marbles. I use clear glass nuggets, available at Morrisons in a bag or places like the Range. They are flat backed.

But be carefully a lot of them have irridescent coatings on them and are not so clear. The Morrison ones are completely clear.

A little bit more expensive is MosaicTraderUK based in Canterbury, Kent, they sell them by weight (that's their website btw)
