Hardanger & Drawn Threadwork

Hi all

I have been doing needlecrafts for many years after I found at a young age that I had the family tenancy towards arthritis. My mother taught me embroidery originally doing crewel, Jacobean and Elizabethan work. I have recently taken an interest in Hardanger and drawn thread work.

Does anybody else on this forum do this type of needlework?

HI We do not do hardanger ourselves, but we have some friends in scotland, who have their own web site devoted to hardanger craft.

It it worth a look even if all it does is give you some new ideas.
