PUT SOME SILICA GEL ON THEM IN A LARGE CONTAINER FOR 24 HOURS. tHEN BRUSH OFF AND AIR AS NORMAL. tHIS WAY THEY WILL DRY OUT A BIT QUICKER AND KEEP A LOT MORE COLOUR. aLSO LIGHTLY SPRAY WITH HAIR SPRAY WHEN DRY, (CHEAPER THE BETTER)

There are following things to be follow for preserving dried flowers
Ensure that the flowers are completely dried. The easiest way to dry flowers is to hang them upside down in a warm, dry and dark room. Bundle the flower by the stem and secure them with a rubberband. Then hang them upside down by a hook to dry. You need to leave the flowers untouched until they are dried, which can take anywhere from a couple weeks to a month. Be sure that the place you have selected to dry your flowers isn't a place with high humidity, as that can interfere with the drying process.
Spray your dried flowers with hair spray to keep the flowers from falling apart over time. However, make sure you don't apply too much hair spray as the moisture from the hair spray can have a negative effect. Just use enough hair spray to lightly coat the flowers.
Decide whether you are keeping your dried flowers out in your home to use as decoration. If that is the case, find a glass jar and place your dried flowers within the jar. The jar will need to have a lid that you can close it and keep the elements out. Place the jar in an area that doesn't have direct sunlight.
Wrap up your dried flowers in newspaper and place them in a shoebox if you are going to be storing them for the time being. Place the shoebox in a warm and dry place in your house, and be careful as to not crush the newspaper as dried flowers are very fragile. Try to keep the newspapers as flat as possible.

I agree with you karlaa. I would love to see pictures of your finished products. I'm thinking of brushing some lacquer on your flowers!
