i'm making some tea bread and some rocky road amongst other things for a charity cake stall i'm having, however i cannot cook everything the day before, so i'm going to make these two a few days before. does anyone know what is them aximum tme before the sale i can make them before going stale. i was going to leave them in one block (not cut them into pieces) untill the actuall day of sale, and also keep them in an air tight container. the sale is sunday, would it be ok to make them tomorow, or perhaps i should wait a bit longer?

Tea bread keeps quite well and if you have any left over you can slice and freeze it with greaseproof paper between the slices. I'm not sure about rocky road although it is a lot quicker to make so would probable be best left till last.
