View Full Version : Craft Fair Calender 2010 onwards please
An event calender is missing from this forum. Excellent apart from that!
Organisers can send details and you list the details....
Other is a long search through the threads...

I've made this suggestion a couple of weeks ago http://www.craftsforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=40067
No had much success in getting a response from anyone who might be able to do something about this.
Other folks agree that this would be a real asset to the forum.
ho hum.........

As Lilac Moon Designs said on the other thread there's Stallfinder where people can search for fairs by distance etc so duplicating that doesn't seem the best use of resources.
If it's not too much hassle for Mr M a few regional sub-sections in the craft fair section could be a good idea - I'll speak to the boss and see if it's possible or not.

:D Aw that's very decent of you nattynetty to put yourself out like that...but I suspect your observation (and that of lilac moon) is likely to prevail.
Seems a shame really as the kind of events which are posted here are smaller, more designer-maker led fairs/markets and as such are not likely to appear on stall finder.
I'm sure having choice is a good thing? Also not having all your eggs in one basket.......:mf:

Hi everyone
I have found a couple of things that might be usfull and im just testing em out at the mo to see if they are able to be tweaked for multiple events on one date. If they are then i will put up a beta test on my website and let you all know about it so you can see if its what you are looking for :)

Hi, my ears were burning! Just like to say that we try and list as many events as possible, big & small - all are very welcome. :)

I know you do a grand job stallfinder lady (sorry, don't know your name :D) I wasn't having a dig or anything :o.
I just thought it would be a good idea on the forum only cos it gets a bit messy reading through all the posts in the craft fair section. My personal pet hate is when a two year old thread gets commented on and I think it's a new fair.....argh!

I think an event calendar would be fab too because as it stands Im not sure if we are aloud to advertise stalls/events that we might be working at to help promote them.
