Photo's not too good anf sorry about the carpet (must find the vacuum before she gets home:mf:)

One 18" and one 24" hat stand for a lady who makes felt hats. Tallest one splits in the middle for easier transporting. Ideas for improvements (or indeed any orders;)) welcome

Very neat! They look nicely proportioned.

Oh... are the bases wide enough to stand up well with hats on, are are the hats not heavy enough to be a problem?

everything you make just looks so . . . . . . professional! These wouldnt look out of place in an upmarket boutique displaying hats, never mind for making them!

Don't sat that Scorch,:o I hope they are OK. They are going off today so if not I'll have to do some adjustments later.

Thank you Jo, I suppose as I'm getting paid technically I am proffessional. Just hope the client is happy.

Oh, I don't KNOW, Bodrighy... I just wondered! I was thinking that if they were big or heavy hats, they might make them "tippy" enough to be an issue, that's all. I'm sure that they could be easily fastened to a base if it proved to be a problem...

They really do look lovely, though!

You've got a point Scorch and something to remember if I make any more. I know that the hats that they are for displaying are felt ones and the brief I was given was based on a wig stand so hopefully they wil be OK. The customer ws happy with them in the photos so....now where's the smiley for crossed fingers
