Hi there, I am new to this forum (well I introduced myself in the new members bit) - we are thinking of getting a stall at a big craft fair in Belfast in April (not sure of the date yet) - but do you think people are more inclined to want to buy finished crafts, or actual materials for making things themselves at a fair?
thanks,

Usually craft fairs are for handmade finished items. But it depends on the individual fair. The Fair organiser usually stipulates what can and cannot be sold, so you should check with them first.

The little local ones tend not to mind, but the big 'stately home' type fairs are very strict/ You have to have made the goods yourself, and you have to get some of the vetted by the organisers before they'll let you book.

I like to see materials for sale, but there again, - I'm an addicted crafter
