Is there such a thing as glass varnish?
I want to put a picture on the outside of a bottle, so Im assuming its gona need a layer of summit over it.

Hi- there's no glass varnish as such. It really depends on what you want to do with the bottle. Ie.the more hard wearing you want the image the more likely you will need to fire it. The best best would be conventional glass paints available from a good craft shop. You can get them in either opaque or transparent and can cure them in a conventional oven. That should make them hard wearing enough to with stand washing even. Anything more hard wearing than that then you'll have to look at glass enamels. Same principle but they'll need to be fired in a kiln.
