I was wondering if anyone has bought and uses one of these dremels from the hobby range. Im thinking of buying one to use with resin but I was looking for some reviews first....

Only my personal opinion but I believe you pay a premium for the 'Dremel' name. I burnt one out, my fault asking it to do a bit too much, but I don't think they are robust enough for prolonged hard work.
I looked about and found this one (http://www.axminster.co.uk/recno/2/product-Axminster-AMT-Multi-Tool-Kit-21208.htm) and this one (http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/crt40-40pce-rotary-tool-kit) I bought the Axminster as from reports it seems the more robust, and their after sale service if anything goes wrong is second to none.
I've had mine for 7 months now and it hasn't lost a beat. Mine was bought mainly for the carving head, but have since found more and more uses for the drill head as time goes on.
If your use is fairly light, I think the Clarke one could be a serious contender if only for the price. IMO
