View Full Version : Is a craft fair the day before Easter too close?

I have a choice of 2 dates for an April fair in a hall in the centre of town.
One of them is the day before Easter Sunday. But is this a bit too close to Easter for anyone to attend? Would everyone be on holiday?
Your opinions please...

I can only guess that maybe more people would attend, looking for alternative gifts.

I'm guessing too - but people staying in town might well be looking for something to do on Easter Saturday - so you might pick up less regular craft enthusiasts.

I suppose it depends what your opinion of Easter is. I know very few people who actually do anything for Easter these days. To most people I know it's just an excuse to have a long weekend off from work (except us people who don't get public holidays), and eats lots of chocolate. I don't know about going away anyplace, anytime I've been in town just before Easter, it's been just as busy as always.
Sorry if that's not much help deciding.

Thanks for all your opinions!
I'll just have to make a decision between the 2 dates as I'm hoping to book the April fair this week.
