Finally some pictures of my work!! Made these over Christmas and I'm pleased with them.

I wish I could make arms like that - so lifelike! It's so hard getting the models alive these days, what with all the laws and stuff. :cool:

Yep - made from knitting needles. Just bought a whole load more this afternoon from the charity shops of Burnley! I'm getting into the idea of re-using stuff rather than making something from scratch but that could just be because I love charity shop shopping and need any excuse to pop into one!

Thats such a gteat idea!!!Did you have to melt them to bend them?

I improvised and used boiling water ( had to be careful!) and a cup. I tried to bend the needle round the outside of the cup and then hubby came in and suggested using the inside of the cup as I wouldn't need as much pressure to get it to bend. That combined with tongs and some clothes pegs - handy stuff available at the inlaws - made me the bracelets!
Got a bid in on ebay for some old typewriter keys - thought that they would make a good bracelet too!

Got to win them first and they will be coming from America but I will post a pic when I get round to doing something with them!

They are so funky! And such a simple idea too!! Can't believe they're made out of knitting needles... i'm so jealous!! Hehe!
